The place sounds fun…give it a try and let me know how you like it. RALEIGH, NC December 16, 2009 The Six String Cafe and Music Hall has announced their re-opening at 1040 Buck Jones Road in Raleigh. The original Six String, located in Cary, was a well known and popular listening room and cafe that has remained popular among Triangle music fans since its closing in 2005.The new ownership team has transformed the old Bullwinkles space into a spacious and state of the art music room with a full dining restaurant and sports bar. Patrons can come listen to a show while catching a meal or go just for dinner or watch a game at the sports bar. The menu features Italian and American cuisines as well as traditional bar food along with full ABC permits.Music performances are by the country’s best touring professionals. The Six String draws from a roster of over 1500 musicians from around the world in an environment where music is the focus and not just part of the background.Opening week includes shows by Bluegrass band The Green Level Entertainers on Thursday, Decemeber 17, 2009 and Saturday, December 19, 2009 features NC native and top headliner Mike Cross.Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets on line at www.sixstringcafe.com.
